The District covers approximately 60 square miles and is comprised of agricultural, rural, surburban and industrial areas. The Department responds to approximately 600 calls a year from its one fire station that is located in the Town of Johnstown. In addition to emergency response services, the Johnstown Fire Rescue Department also provides a fire safety education program which contacts several hundred citizens annually, most of which are our community's children.
